LPG
Hi again Was wondering have any of u guys done an LPG conversion. Is it worth it Is it ok for engine I am in n Ireland and there is a couple of places that do it hard to know its about 1500 to get it done. The jeep is only used as a good car the od evening and weekend the wife has her we run around my x5 is my baby. Would appreciate some advice about the LPG. Just note 100% sure about it my jeep seems to average in around 20 per gallon which is not bad for the beast it is.

If you only do a low mileage its not worth it, you will never get your money back, you will also get about 20% lower consumption. If you do go ahead then the engine will be ok, mine has done at least 20000 with no problems. You got a V8 or 3.0?

I have a 4.6 as well. You will get around 14 mpg on gas. Dont forget you will lose boot space or your spare wheel space with a gas tank

Think the tank is removable to a certain extent, your suspension compressor will need to be shifted. Mine is across the axle one which has less capacity than the wheel well type, AND takes up boot space. Already fitted when I got the car. And make sure the system is capable of running the engine at full throttle. Mine isnt, but not really a problem in day to day driving. If I want warp speed I just change to petrol
