Weathertech FloorLiner mats
Anyone here used the FloorLiner mats by Weathertech? Want to get something to protect the interior of X5 from the winter slush mix. These seem to have raised ends to prevent slush from getting to carpet.

I really like those new rubber mats especially the raised sides like you said. The classic premium they're selling even has higher sides. Water and slush ain't got nowhere to go. The only thing I'm concerned is they don't have deep enough grooves so slush and water might wet your pant legs.

I was going to get them, until I saw them in my buddies 5. For the dough the OEM BMW rubber mats are a great value at $65 for 4, they do a great job, work with the OEM carpet stays and fit perfectly.

I am VERY happy with the OEM floormats..........I did it because of the fit too. It just looks better if it fits the shape of the floor...........

I'm very pleased with the Weathertech advantage all-weather mats. They look like OEM mats but they also soak up water very well.

I've used Weathertech in other cars and they worked great.
I am using OEM rubber mats in the X5 (and hatch area) and am very happy with the fit and function. For the money the OEMs are hard to beat. |

I have the OEM rubbers are they work great. I've been to Tahoe once with them, and with all the rain we have had these past few weeks, I can say they are good stuff. And, as posted above, they fit perfectly. I got black to match my interior.

Go with the Rubbers. I also have the Weather Advantage mats as posted above. They are really nice with the carpet BUT I realized that in foul weather, with the rubber mats, you can just wipe/soak off the snow at the end of the day.
With the carpet ones, you can't. In the winter, my drivers mat tends to ice up overnight since the water in the mat keeps freezing...... |
