Rear Shock replacement help.

My google fu is not working today or no one has ever done a DIY for replacing the Rear Shocks on an E53.

Can someone point me in the right direction.

I figgure I am going to have to go through the rear interior, but were do I start?

Please Help, I have parts in hand, and wanted to get it done today.

Rob

Rear interior under the floor. Remove the black trim pieces and the caps would be exposed. It's similar to replacing the rear bags. Fairly simple to replace.
Undo top and bottom then push up and pull out of the way. Reverse for install.

To start, just start removing everything out the trunk and remove the black trim pieces on the sides under the load floor.
Good luck.

Thanks,

I took a break after doing the front struts and decided that was going to be the approach, the Front strut towers were throwing me off.

I'll tackle it tomorrow!
