yes, he includes 32 bit and 64 bit drivers.

Right click on the "unknown device" then update driver then choose "browse my computer" browse to the directory where the drivers are located. If it says the drivers aren't signed/approved, ignore and install anyway.

Hello to everyone, I use the same kit and works.
about the drivers, they can be found here: Virtual COM Port Drivers

the most easy that will install is this one here: www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/CDM/CDM20824_Setup.exe
after the cable is plugged it will be automatically recognised

regards!

on 64bits versions DIS, NcsExpert and Winkfp don't work but I did managed to make DIS work with some help from the seller, Diaghead was showing an error when being runned but he gave me something to modify in the registry keys and now works on 64bits, hope I won't need NcsExpert and winkfp in future

keep up the good work

the seller is very quick to respond to all my messages on ebay, i don't think i have any problems buying the product once i figure out if this laptop of my wife's is working.

wonder if i ran into any hangups on the install if he'd remote in or something to help the software install? obviously he's done the install countless times

How old is the laptop you are going to use and what processor is in it? The version of VMware Workstation he includes doesn't run on older hardware. That's not to say that you couldn't use an older version of VMWare workstation but the older the harware and the less memory it has, the shittier the VM will run...

If you get into a jam that that you can't resolve, anyone can remote into it using Team Viewer: TeamViewer - Free Remote Control, Remote Access & Online Meetings

Yup, as VMware does not work on my laptop. I have like 3 or 4 more laptops laying around. I'll try another one soon.

Are there any other sellers on eBay selling the same kit as I want to buy one? Old mate in Romania has Australia blocked, cannot even send a message to him.

I'll send you a PM on saturday and let you know when I check it out, he says at least 34gb of free space right?

I'm going to wipe and reload windows most likely on this laptop to get it working as "factory fresh" as i can because i'm sure its filled with my wifes shit from college on it. and like i said above this will be strictly a diagnostic laptop,

Yarno, PM me. I can buy you that cable if you want. Just send $$$. Paypal I guess. I can do this tomorrow, or next week. Driving around all weekend.
