Dude great story, I would be like "babe you know how hot that gets me when you road rage Twihards on the highway" and give her that sweet trombone that she was needin!

Seriously though, its amazing how many stupid people who don't pay attention and don't give a fuck are on the road today. Literally, when I am out riding the Thunderbird, I pass people on the highways and look over at the driver a lot of the times and its appalling how probably 1 in 4 or 5 always have their eyes down at their cell phone.

Last summer I actually scared the shit out of someone because I rode next to them for a solid 10 seconds and they never took their eyes up once, so what did I do? Got nice and close, gave a WHACK on their window to wake them up, when they looked over, I wagged my finger at them like "you shouldnt be doing that", gave a twist of the wrist, and got away as quick as I could. The girl was definitely shocked and pissed that she couldnt finish what she was Twittering.

I really should do that more often.

interesting, I have seen people drive in some countries, and in Lat. america, for example, wearing a seat belt is like admitting that you are a sassy... As a result, I have seen too many fender benders with fatal results... In europe, say in italy or germany, people are concentrated on the driving, and drive like crazy (going 200 km/h on autostrada, I had to be looking out for cars passing me like i was a slowpoke)... They don't have fatal fender benders, their crushes are generally fatal as they are smeared on the highways over a 5 mile stretch...

I use a car pooling system common in the DC area, called slugging... as a result, I get to ride with many different drivers... a lot of times i just close my eyes and dose off, as I hate watch how some people drive - most of them get into the left most lane on a 3-lane highway in an anticipation of a left-hand turn in 10 miles, and stay in that lane even if the next two lines are totally empty... so, you can see the left lane filled up and the right lanes just passing by you... then, they get onto the Express lanes, and get onto the left lane, since the exit will be on the left, about 38 miles down the road... and stay in the left lane for the entire duration... going at speed limit...

I just close my eyes, as it drives me nuts!!! I am sure that I am doing some things that other people may deem stupid, but some elementary rules of traffic should be instilled into the drivers with their licenses - if you drive on the left while there is room on the right - move right. if 2 cars or more pass you on the right - you are too slow in the left lane - move right!! how hard is it??

Congrats on the house and the custody battle won, Jason. I too have a 16yrs old daughter with my ex-wife and she drives my old 02 X5 3.0.
There are many stupid, careless drivers out there. I had to jump on my brake this morning in my Z32to avoid T-boning a stupid Corolla. The a**hole driver turned right, into my lane without looking, at the intersection while his light is red.

I wish the US had more of the common sense "rules" for driving like they do in Europe. Only passing in the left lane...and you get a ticket if you don't move out of the way (If a cop sees you). Like my dad used to say..."Common sense isn't common".

My daughter laughed hard when she saw my wife (step mom) rush up and razz that girl. The ex is having to pay.... but, its a fraction of what is technically required by law and that amount is going directly to my daughter for gas and her spending money.
At least my duaghter knows what could have happened to me and others for what that girl failed to do.... which was yield. I guess right of way to her is owed instead of given.

It was a huge turn on for me to see her do that! Lol!
I told her I would have done the same if it happened to her or my daughter...no amount of metal, rubber or plastic would have stopped me from getting them off the road and giving them what for...but, it turned out for the best.

Problem these days is that people don't show remorse or know humility when they've done wrong. Her just waving back or possibly flipping me off...(couldn't tell) and speeding off just tells me her only care in the world is only what she was doing then.
