Dude, who gives a shit. Everyone who I come across thinks I'm rolling in it until I tell them that it cost less than their new "-insert shit japanese SUV here-". Then they continue in the same vein on about how much more expensive maintenance and parts are on European cars.

At the end of the day it's a showy vehicle because it is an awesome vehicle. They age well and they drive well. If you're worried about looking showy then buy something else, otherwise enjoy the fact that people are jealous of your beast. They don't know why they're jealous because they've convinced themselves that they wouldn't want what you have.

Just arm yourself with a battery of witty retorts and enjoy the conversation

"Sorry you're confusing me with someone who wants your opinion"

---I wouldn't buy one..........---
"Well yeah it's an exclusive club and I don't know whether you'd be invited"

-----------You must be the 1%---------
"Absolutely, although I am getting a bit over having lobster for lunch every day"

Haters gonna hate, take it as a compliment

Enjoy your new beast

I have never heard of that problem. I'm going to look at that when I get home.

Not really an ODD comment but.....

Patched Hell's Angel pulls up beside me with a buddy in the passenger seat; rolls back to check out the rear of the truck, comes back up alongside the passenger side window before sayin: "I thought my girl had a fat rear. That thing looks wild, man."

(whether he was referencing his bike or girl I'm Still unsure...)
