That cheap eBay tool I linked. But as I said, it did not fit out of the box, it needed a few minutes shaving with a die grinder.

My passenger side wiper was a notch in the wrong position, as in too high. Tried removing the wiper arm. Tried oil and heat but it didn't give. Finally got it off after tapping on the bolt, but seemingly too hard or at a wrong angle as I destroyed the thread and the nut will not go on anymore...now I have to buy the whole new mechanism...I am so proud of myself...

Hope these aftermarket replacement lever mechanism are ok. Is it hard to swap it out?

My wipers are stuck does the rubber grommet boot just come off by hand? I think I need to tighten mine.
