I got this on ebay.... one of the greatest things is the a2dp bluetooth... which lets me finally use my iphone 5 and stream music through the stereo.(can control iphone wiht steering wheel !) The phone quality is pretty decent as well with the built in mike.

It's pretty. I got similar unit installed. Where did you connect TV antenna to?

Looks great I wanted to do this for the longest time, but didn't have the guts to cut the cage, in case I need to go back to the OE unit. If it was a direct drop-in (no cuttings), I would do this in a heartbeat.

BTW...how did you secure the unit after cutting the CD cage?

i didn't connect the TV to anything yet..... i used the provided brackets and drilled them in the side wall (not the best, but it holds it in solid)

Got my Eonon yesterday and installed it. Very easy install. No modification required, however, I am very underwhelmed by it in general. Its very fast to load up and navigate, but the radio is useless as the reception is so poor you cant use it and every time you turn on the car it randomly picks an input rather than going back to where it was or even the main screen.

Yours looks heaps better.

You can see the GPS antenna at the top of the windscreen.
Seems to work pretty well there.

I also installed a reversing camera, but it doesnt automatically come on when I put it in reverse like promised.

I've sent an email to the seller asking to have the issues fixed or I'll have my money back, but I doubt either will happen.

I hope you are having better luck with yours.
Cheers, Ben.

Hey Ben, your issues above are very easy to solve. Let me know if you got a helpful reply from the seller before I tell you how to fix these. I got similar unit on my X5 and had these plus more issues.

Red face

Hi guys.
Yes Id like to fix the problems. Primarily the radio, but if the other issues can be sorted over time then I would really appreciate any help.
I can see the potential of the unit, I just cant see it working, but Im willing to try.
Thanks for the resposes.

Ben.

PS. Sorry if I hijacked your thread Jarbackwards.
