From the behaviour I described to them , they are guessing it could be sensor related. They told me to check every sensor's plastic arm to see if they are intact and also check each links that the sensors are attached to, to feel for any loose or damage.
If everything looks fine, I'll bring it in for a scan....

Just a tip: Do the test in all positions. I saw mine leaking only in "access mode"...

Good luck!

Update: Here is what I saw today. Roads were wet so I took a peak and this is what I saw. Sorry , the vid is sideways but you can clearly see the small leak.

x5 4.8is air suspension leak - YouTube

My question is ( and I'm sure this is hidden in some previous thread that I can't find lol ) can't we seal these small "porous" like holes with something like liquide rubber or other flexible glue..... Wishful thinking here guys lol

If I need to go all the way and replace, can I just replace one side and will I need to have the alignment done ( just did it last week ) .... Would you go OEM at 1K a pop or Arnott's ( how do they hold with time? )

I need a hug.... lol

No you can't seal them. Don't bother wasting your time. Go ahead and replace them ASAP.

Yes, you can replace just one. No, you shouldn't have to get an alignment. Some, like me, changed both feeling the other is probably going to be next soon anyways.

Same deal with replacing one or both. Some have replaced bad air struts with Arnott and others not. I think there's not enough data to say either way how the Arnott's are going to hold up over time.

I need a hug.... lol

So just to make sure I'm about to pull the trigger (from Arnott) on part # A 2465 ( left and right) .... Is that correct?

Yes, A-2464 & A-2465 are the correct parts. Separate part numers for left and right. Sorry, I got mixed up.

Thanks Poppa.... The part number I had was for alternate part number for international shipping but it's the same as you mention....

Well it's done, I'v committed for both front ,now all I need to decide is DIY or have it done .... I have a few days to think about that

Haha you got me before I edited it.

Okay here is the deal. You can't go wrong either way.

AS-2305/AS-2306 are COMPLETE air strut replacements that are REBUILT. They cost more because you just remove & replace. That's also why there is a core charge of $100.

A-2464/A-2465 are NEW air springs ONLY. You need to remove your old spring and then attach the new one to your existing struts. No core to send in.

I hope I made this clear now. Sorry for the confusion. You can call them and confirm if you like. When I got mine replaced, I went with the complete rebuilt air strut. I know others just changed the air spring.
