nice!!! that LED light is using 4 LEDs inside each housing... interesting solution...

chris, your front license plate is smaller than the EU size lic plates? do you have special front bracket to accomodate the smaller brasilian standard, or your license plate is bolted onto the standard EU plate holder?

Hey Terminator,

here's the pics and the differences between 3 plates (Euro, Brazil, US).
The US plates will fit with the Euro plate holder, for sure.

Chris

Euro plate in the back, braziliam in midlle and US in front:

Very nice. Not too expensive either. I'm curious to see how long these will last.

Hey mate, you right! It's a Russian plate, St. Pete. You're good.
By the way, I'm braziliam. I got this plate a few years ago. I was not finding it in any shop, so I ask a taxi driver about it. Cost: 20 buxs. Delivered at my hotel door. Don't ask me how .

The US plate I got in Orlando by 2.99 buxs.

iJust to you know, In Brazil, the plates own to car, not to owner. If I sell the car, the plate needs to go too and this never will change. Even in a wreck, the plates goes to trash and the combination will never be used again. In some states (yet) you can choose the letters and numbers when buy a new car, paying 50 bux. But the plates belong to car, always.

And, almost forget to say, here you have to use both plates, front and rear.

Hug, Chris

in US the plates are supposed to be surrendered back to the DOT once the car is sold, or you can transfer the plates from a car to the next car. That is why, you will see some really old plates on the road, but less and less... The vanity plates, like the one my wife has with her name, one time deal, if you lose that plate or it is stolen, the DOT will not issue the same combination again... however, if you find and bring it back, they will re-register it again... while overseas, i kept the registration of the car currect (only $36 annually in Pennsylvania), so her name-plate stayed current all the times...

I have seen US plates overseas used as a novelty, I have seen a taxi driver in Costa Rica with Pennsylvania plates next to his CR plates.. it is always cool when the front does not have plate and you can put anything you want...

BTW, your LEDs look great!!! I was going to play with different LEDs in the same light housing (replacing the actual diode inside the bulb holder, to see which combination yeilds the best result)... life got better of me... lol.. no time, with the kids, their homework, karate practice, etc... one day i will tackle it...
