06 navigation and aux question

my bad - i thought his radio (N9) was in the trunk...

that is the 3-pin connector that i was talking about - where does it connect on your picture?

This isnt my pic and i think this is an e46 but it is exactly the same on mine. It feeds out of the main connector going from the radio. its tied to the main wire loom. The ecs part just plugs to it.
