Tranny failure is rough. Condolences. When you get it back and the weather warms, looks like the driver's seat could use the leatherique treatment to complement the interior improvements ......

+1. Did you reuse or put the CF wrap over the dark wood? I might be interested in the dark wood trim if avail.

I think mike had light wood in his 4.4, wrapped with carbon wrap a couple years ago. Dark wood in his 4.8 and I think he just swapped the already wrapped trims over to his 4.8. Which would mean he might have a dark wood set, Mike feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Feelin like a change in wood color for your Lemans prop?

Yeah. I had dark/black leather in my 3.0. Well.. actually.. I had the same light wood on my 3.0 10 yrs ago as is on my 4.8.

My mother in law's 3.0 had dark with tan. I wanted the dark. She liked the light. A project ensued and we transplanted them. I really do like the light with her tan. Still looks good.

The dark in my 3.0 endured but aged in the 7 years I drove it. I decided to let it go with the sale. Among other reasons, the light wood in my 4.8 had only 11K miles of wear. It still looks brand new. I must also admit that it looks pretty good with the lighter leather. But I miss my dear old dark wood.

Someone on here was selling their dark/black birch I think it was. That would be pretty cool. Why can't we just be happy with what we have? LOL.

I know, my CEO says she REALLY likes the light wood on my sport package interior with black leather, some days I agree, and other days, I just want Titan trims to be a complete 2-tone "sport interior". Guys like us are never happy LOL

If I had a solid buyer for my light wood trims I would probably not hesitate to swap it out and put Titan trims in the interior of mine, but no one solid is "in the market" for the light wood, and I would not want a set of perfectly fine, uncracked trims sitting in a box in my basement, unused.

After getting Shafted with a Xmas Present Tranny burnt on 24th of dec. Finally 1 Month Later with New Tranny the Ninja is Out.. And she came home today 1/20/14) with a nice Spanking Tranny, and a little sister (3 series hooptie), for daily while the ninja Only Comes out to play, the 3series will be my beater from now on, as we set Goals in the future,

so I did the Minor Maintenace so far

-oil change
-air filters
-spark plugs
-Cleaned The Engine Bay
-Tints
-Windshield Washer Motor

next mod will be Control Arms,Brakes (drilled n slotted) and Thats It....for now

It does Feel Good not to spend $300 a week 12mpg on gas using my Ninja for Client Services and using the E46 20-30mpg now for DD is Night n Day ....since 2 weeks ago i put on 1900miles on her already....

and once i drive my X i feel like a Complete Different Person from Driving Hooptie all week to driving the X for weekend. It Feels Good, pulls strong now

I was gng to Get an X5M but if i did i would have been using that As DD which is not economical for my line of work, so I think I'll wait one more year till the NEW X5m comes out and the old ones drop in prices then ill pull the Trigger.
