Update: Hour and a half commute this morning in stop and go traffic and the fuse is holding strong. I am 90% sure it would have popped again by now. Suffice to say I have identified my issue as a faulty Auxiliary Water Pump. This little sucker costs $160 so I am going to give it a few weeks before replacing just to be certain plus I will not need strong heat here in CT for a while.

Based on what I have researched it is. The 2 high draw components on F48 are the dual water valves and the aux wp. If you could confirm that would be great though. I'm basing this knowledge off a bimmerfest post and a youtube video. Not exactly fool proof.

Can you unplug both (either) high draw components without damaging the vehicle?
