Ricky Bobby will become famous soon enough
3m 1080 vinyls are the best I have heard, some used to use DiNoc but the 1080 vinyl is really made for wrapping the interior. go to www.metrorestyling.com to order samples, 1080 comes in a million different colors

Where in GA do you live Tim? I'm in Lilburn. Shoot me a PM or email if you have question about your X5.
Last set of trim I wrap for a fellow Georgian E39 owner, I used 3M Brush Aluminum vinyl. Looks good with black interior and his silver paint. My new 4.8iS also have silver trim with black interior.
I also maintain all my cars, so if you need help with yours, let me know.

Genuine running board will cost ~$720 last time I check on eBay. Those Taiwanese replicas don't look right.
Wrapping headliner will be lots of works which should be left to professional if you want quality and longevity.
Style128 wheels: they came on variety of bimmers. The most common is the E65 (7-series) They do have size that fit E70/71 (X5/X6) Pay attention to wheel width, hub-bored size and offset.

I agree with others about doing preventative maintenance before moddings.

It is all about personal taste. The most important decision is whether you want the trim to contrast, blend into or compliment your black interior. What you decide will determine where the focus will be in the interior. One way to help you decide and where you will also see the latest trends is to take a trip to a BMW dealer and take a peak at the trim on the new cars/trucks, especially the interiors in black and anything that you can sit in and really take-in the 'feel' of how the colors interact. Another suggestion would be to go to a vinyl wrap shop and ask them for their opinion. Good ones see the best and the worst choices which will help you hone in. They will also have samples of some colors and styles to lay on some of your trim to get a better perspective of how the change will look. If the BMW dealer is near any other upscale brands, take a look there as well. Since the trim is in several places in the interior with gaps between pieces rather than linked together, I feel it is best to tie into the dominate color in your interior, to compliment the color surrounding the trim with some degree of high-end flare, especially if the interior is black. With black interior that ties everything together from dash to carpet-my personal taste.

As I see this 3m 1080 are the best ones out in market, can someone tell me how much do I need for all the plastic trims inside ? 5ftx5ft ?

I think best solution will be to buy sample for 0.99$ and see if it's good enough ?

can someone give me direct link on ebay/amazon?

for example, which one will be better ?

this VViViD 7 Brushed Aluminum Vinyl Wrap with Air Release Technology - Sample 2"x 4" : Amazon.com : Automotive

or this ?

Silver Brushed Aluminum Vinyl Wrap Sticker Decal Film Sheet - 1"X8" Sample : Amazon.com : Automotive

or maybe this one ?

Amazon.com: 3m 1080 Scotchprint Brushed Aluminum Vinyl Car Wrap - 4in X 6in (4" X 6") Sample: Automotive

can't decide

Great, thanks man! Just 1 question though,Does your interior look exactly like sample pictures from this link ? :

Silver Brushed Aluminum Vinyl Wrap Sticker Decal Film Sheet - 1"X8" Sample : Amazon.com : Automotive

I mean if is this one:
Silver Brushed Aluminum Vinyl Wrap Sticker Decal Film Sheet - 1"X8" Sample : Amazon.com : Automotive
and this one:
VViViD 7 Brushed Aluminum Vinyl Wrap with Air Release Technology - Sample 2"x 4" : Amazon.com : Automotive

are the same ?

I mean,they are all the same,just from different suppliers/brands?

Or if you could give me straight ebay/amazon link for sample ? that would be great

P.S sorry for so much questions, just want to know exactly what to buy
