you need to use a low-powered relay that activates with PDC and cuts the power supply to the AEs...

how good are you with electronics? soldering?

well, if you are not that good with the electronics, there is not much that can be done...

if you have a friend who is familiar with wires and who you can trust with your car's electronics, then all you need is a low powered relay (radio shack carries a small relay, 37.5 mA coil current), a small enclosure, a circuit board that will fit into that enclosure... you power the coil of the relay by connecting the coil to pins 7 and 6 of the middle connector on the PDC module, and wire the power source to the angel eyes through the "normally closed" contacts of the relay.

as a result, when PDC activates (automatically or manually), the relay engages, the contacts open thus breaking the power line to the angel eyes, the angel eyes turn off...

operationally it looks like the angel eyes turn off everytime you put your car in reverse...

you place the box with relay next to the PDC module in the trunk and run two wires from the relay to the angel eyes power source (i would guess, somewhere in the front)

let me know if this is enough info, or if you or whoever will the work need more detailed explanation...

emin, it is the CCFL ballast that causes the electronic interference with the PDC correct me if i am wrong.

Like I said I pulled my fuse for PDC since I have 2 dead sensors and I don't use it anyway, so if I install angel eyes someday I will not run into this problem. You can either use the directions T gave above, or you can pull fuse for PDC and hopefully not have the problem (fuse for "parking aid" in glovebox)

Not sure if you are going by the pictures or the description but there is only one LED angel eye kit offered, it is the same as the pictures, the rings look clear so you can see the individual LED's,

Ricky, did the write-up work for you? If so, glad it helped. Curious on feedback, as if it wasn't working for people I'd just delete the thread to prevent confusion / damage to LCM.

if i take the fuse out then the censors wont work for me
i actually still want the censors and the angel eyes so idk i might have to take to a electrition to see what happens

not just any electrician, but to somebody who can follow directions correctly - if you overload any of the electronic circuits of the modules, you may end up with less than desired results...

you need the specific relay or better, and the things need to be connected to specific wires and not to anything else...

you need somebody who will execute the procedure correctly... this is not a Honda or toyota - this car is not forgiving the electronic mistakes, even a weak battery creates havoc in the system that can cost you hundreds of dollars, like dead keys, locks, or other blocks... imagine if somebody will treat this is a nissan and will deal with it accordingly - you will have electrical nightmare on your hands...

thread lightly

i think ima keep it like this honestly cuz i dont think im going to sell the car just yet but if i do idk i might change the head lights to retrofit then sell it so the problem will go away

Haven't tried the DIY myself yet but we both have 2003's so I'm hoping it will work for me, like you I am only a fan of angel eye's with factory parking light switched operations. I will test the wires with a multimeter before hooking up (I'm still waiting to do my headlight retrofit project, as I have 2003 housings that are permasealed)
