Entire cars are usually sprayed with a paint gun.

The following may be a site that you can see variety and may know of a solution for you:

Has anyone plastidipped the rear roundel, to black over the chrome around the circumference of the roundel? Having helped my son dip the grill on his E39, I've decided I want to eliminate all the chrome on my E53. I'm also considering carbon fiber roundels, but I realize they won't cover the chrome on the rear roundel.

once I do get hold of this stuff is it possible to coat my steering wheel parts that have 'faded' and do this in situ without having to take off the air bag etc....could i get away with masking the controls for the radio turning cruise control etc and do it?

What have you plastidipped?
Did my rear X5 emblem and the 2 side 3.0i emblems so far. Will do the front grills soon. Will try to post pics after I do them.
Lookin good man!!!

I want to do the chrome around the rear roundel also.
I bought some CF roundels before. Go for quality ones.
My eBay ones faded in the sun to a gold color.
They actually look good if you like gold.
Bad part is I hate gold even more than I hate chrome. LoL

Dipped the hood vents from titanium to black to match shadow line grill..

I need to do something about all the black plastic trim around the X. They are all faded and look horrible. Maybe this weekend I'll get to all trim, roof rails, bumper grills, etc.

Edit: Maybe I won't, plastidip and cold weather do not get along.
