@luvmy03E53 to your answer I would say no as you can see a tiny bit of the tape line ,you have to look close .( I could be wrong ).

Jazzy, I dipped my style69 wheels and my gfs' e90 wheels about a month ago here in MN when it was about 40-45 outside and I didn't have any issues with it. I finished coating them at night and early that morning it rained a bit and the stuff is still holding up perfectly fine.
Thanks Peregrin-O!

I'm thinking about doing my steering wheel trim and the lower front bumper in the metallic aluminum, but had some questions....

Any issue removing the PD from matte surfaces like the bumper cover?

How close is the color match to the factory titanium trim? I've got the ti kidney grills and was hoping for a reasonably close match.

Anyone on here have high quality pics of a silver x5 with either anthracite or black on the grilles, trim, emblems, hood vents, etc??

I'm looking to do it within the next couple weeks.

My X5 isnt silver it's metallic gray but has the rims, rear X5 emblem, and the 3.0 side emblems Plastidipped black.
NOW the side and X5 emblems are done in anthracite which makes them a bit brighter than in this picture.
Kidney grills are black but made that way. Not Plastidipped.

This isn't a high quality pic but it gives you an idea of how different it will look.
