Speech button does not work. Nothing happens when I press it.
My INPA is version 5.00 and it doesn't have the auto scan feature. I think that was part of the earlier versions.

Could I use DIS to scan for the same TCU module?

Hey TMV, cool, I'll text u and will try to stop by later tonight.
I just scanned the car with DIS and no errors in the TCU. At the same time, when I "asked" the TCU for the BT code, it did not display one.

I will stop messing with it until I meet with TMV and will let you know what we find out.

Just curious: what phone are you using? Not sure all of them are support with the BT module in the car.

of all the phones that i had used with my BT unit, the razor was THE only one that allowed me to read the SMS/text messages on the nav screen... none of other, so called smart phones, could do that...

Alecu, from what you have posted abouve - your car was originally built with a BT module according to the vin decoding you provided (the " HANDY USA/CDN Preparation f mobile phone cpl. USA/CDN" stands for a BT module).
In order to pair my car with my phone i just pressed a tel button on MID and started searching for the car with my phone (iPhone)... i've tried every other possible key sequence that was described earlier in the post, but only this one worked...may be give that a try
