hmmm... you right, 5mph going off the cliff - not spectacular... it is just like a limp biscuit - you can't impress a woman with that, and it is a total embarassment... so, don't do it!!! ![]() let us know what you find when you are in the glove compartment... you have the instructions on the removal? |

you need phillips screwdriver... there are obvious screws that hold the box, when you open the lid, you can see them at the top edge... take them off... then, there are two screws on the right and two on the left - you will need to disengage the plastic shock absorber thingy... use a flat screwdriver to pull a little plastic pin, don't lose the pin, and then you need to wiggle the lid a little bit to clear the bump stop - this will open the "mouth" super wide and you will be able to reach the back screws on the left... the, there are two thumb latches underneath, holding the box from below, you need to turn them 90 degrees and pull them out... i think at this point, the glove box should come off - make sure you take out the light, and unplug whatever needs to be unplugged - i don't remember if the flashlight charger stays put with the car's body, or comes off with the box... there will be two little white plastic pieces that come from the thumb latches, don't lose them... at this point you will have access to the back side of the fuses... and should see the bunch of the modules in the big plastic carrier - there, to the left of the carrier you should see the fuel pump relay... the LCM module is hidden under carpet on the right side of the car, next to your right elbow (if you are deep in there!!!)... check for moisture, check for rusted pins, maybe bent pins... have a powerful shop light with you, so you can see things - it is dark in there!!!
