Here is a video of the codes:

The codes - YouTube

This was taken roughly Sunday afternoon. I had another 12 minute video of the issue when it first started, but didn't upload it because a lot of the video was waiting for torque to come up so that I could read the codes. The video is basically the same as the one I posted of how it is driving. No other codes are present.

I should also note, that for the past week, when trying to turn the vehicle on, the vehicle was having a hard time at first. The first crank would basically just turn over, but wouldn't start. It would make the turning over sound for a few seconds at which point, I would switch the key off. I would reset the key and turn it and it would finally turn on, so it does appear to be a fuel issue at some point.

You have checked for vacuum leaks, yes?

Edit: using carb cleaner or the like

We established the vacuum leak theory last time, and it wasn't it. I haven't had time to look at the vehicle since Sunday night, but I'm going to be doing an inspection of all things including DISA valve, MAF, etc.

Torque is not going to give you the EGS codes. You need to get some software that is specific to BMW cars. I used Carsoft 6.5 in the past with my E34 Touring and right now I am using BMW Scanner 1.4.

Carsoft 6.5 requires a computer with a dedicated serial port. USB to serial may or may not work. Most of the time it doesn't work. I have an Old Sony Vaio laptop (P3) that I keep around just for Carsoft.

BMW Scanner 1.4 will work with most modern laptop running XP haven't try it on my Window 8 laptop.

Will I need a specific OBDII cable? I have the OBDII cable I ordered last time, I can find the software, otherwise, should I order one off of Ebay?

My question is, could this at any way be related to a fuel issue?

The Lean code, the same symptoms as last time, the engine not running right in park, and while driving. The car having issues on cold startup.

Or am I having a tranny problem for sure?

Refresh my memory, do you know exactly what fixed it last time. And how many miles ago was that?

Last time, I checked the fuel pressure and determined that I had NO pressure on the line at all. Replaced the fuel pump and the car started right up, no problems and ran like a champ. This was after replacing:

Spark plugs, a DISA valve which was broken and needed replacing, the rubber boot to the intake (which looked like it was cracking so it was due to replace), I kept the old MAF sensor, (but I have a replacement). Afterwards, I broke the schraeder valve in the fuel rail and replaced the fuel rail with a used one, all injectors were seated in place correctly. I also replaced the fuel filter aftwards. No leaks appear to be present anywhere in the system. I noticed the problem after filling the gas tank up (literally about 4 miles aftwards). The gas was semi-cheap (quick stop anyone?) as it was the only nearby station that has decent prices that isn't Valero, AM/PM or Costco. There are no shell stations in town, and Quick stop has been good on the gas tank. Maybe the fuckers messed up and got something in their gas storage tanks? I know that recently (about a week ago) they closed the pumps down and got new pumps along with adding a diesel tank)

You could be getting the lean codes because the DME is shutting down the injectors to prevent you from destroying the trans with aggressive driving, however as you continue to drive the car, the DME is still monitoring the engine and with the injector(s) off you now have a "Lean" condition.

Don't drive aggressively and see if you still get the injector shutoff. From your previous video it looks like if you didn't drive aggressively the truck accelerated normal.

Edit:

When you replaced the fuel rail, did you replace all the o-rings on the injectors? Disturbing the old o-rings could also be a source of a vacuum leak. Any time I pull a fuel rail I would replace all the o-rings and put a little oil on the o-rings so they go back into the intake manifold easily.

Also when you replaced the fuel pump, did you wipe the sump that the fuel pump is located in the gas tank? A bad fuel pump could discharge debris and the new pump (or in your case the replacement pump) could have suck up some of that debris.
