Muffler delete dual tip question?

I want to get a muffler delete done on my 4.4. I have an X-Pipe and that's it so far, the rest is stock (mufflers). When they cut out the mufflers, I'm going to have them weld on (2x) dual tips. What is the inlet size needed? 2.25?

Here's what I'm talking about.

Dan Get this one From Sk Speed...this is where we (Me and Carl got the QTP cutouts) ...
2.5" Inlet and a Whopping 3" outlet...this will look beastly...
i think my Eisenmann is 3.5" but 3' is pretty descent size..

yeah, I think the 3.5" would look killer....I don't want to pull out my mufflers tho. I have a magnaflow X pipe, Im wondering if the stock mufflers can be taken out, put a shorter muffler in and add these tips? I think I would take them down to the coater and have them ceramic coated to something dark, like the original 4.4 mufflers.
