Ok - haven't had the problem with leaving a window open.

However, here is another problem: If the truck is unlocked, I cannot open the rear hatch without the key fob. When I try to lift the hatch, I don't feel any switch click or anything. On my 2000 540, I feel a little micro switch click when I try to open the trunk - I wonder if the X5 switch is bad?
