Are these the wires to tap for steering wheel control and reverse signal?
I'm in the process of installing a Pioneer AppRadio3 and have a couple of questions about which wires to tap for steering wheel control (I'm using an Axxess ASWC-1) and reverse signal for the backup cam.
The Axxess instructions show the following: ![]() That looks strikingly similar to this connector that connects to the factory stereo: ![]() Pin 9 has this wire connected to it, which is White/Grey/Yellow, as opposed to White/Red/Yellow. ![]() Can anyone confirm that is the correct wire to tap for the audio steering wheel control signals? For the reverse/backup signal, I understand that pin3 on connector 1599 has this signal. This comes off a connector right next to the gear shift knob. It is blue with a grey stripe. ![]() I'm pretty much past the point of no return at this point. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() These are the amps going in: ![]() I'm using the Janus double din bezel & mount:
