leak

I have a fluid coming out of a tube on the underside of the x5 just about under the drivers seat.

Where is it coming from? What is up there?

Its not attached to the transmission; the small rubber tube just goes into the body.

Isn't it an A/C condensation?

If it's leaking water, then yes, A/C condenser, nothing to worry about.

For whatever reason they ran the line backwards a bit. Near the transmission IIRC. I forget which component it is, but some guys are complaining of rust thanks to the weird positioning of the AC drain.
