I pulled the pillar trim at rear seatbelts, rear ceiling grab handles, overhead light assembly, rear ceiling accessory mounts, loosened the rear plastic window trim on each side and then let the headliner down. The drains exit on each side to the outside of the rear hatch hinges and the tubes can be removed through the outside and new ones inserted and routed properly. I also placed zip ties on the rubber connections of the new drain tubes at the sunroof assembly. I did not access the front ones that exit down the front pillars on either side of the windshield as I have not had any leaking to the front.

fixed finally.

it was actually the door vapor barrier that was leaking. it was leaking through in a couple small spots and at the lower retaining screw hole.

I just removed the vapor barrier and replaced it with clear plastic (toyota/honda do this factory) and attached with trim adhesive, then stuck the factory torn up barrier back on as sound deadening.

in the future all I have to do is rip the plastic off and put some freshie on if I do any repairs.

went through the car wash at lunch and passed with flying colors....now to replace the front passenger window regulator
