Make sense to have the shade split like that to vent, when the sunroof tilted.

anybody have an answer why one side of my tail lights is brighter than the other?

are both lights new, coroded wires ,not getting equal amount of voltage is a possiblity

This. Plus our SAVs are notorious for having bad circuit boards on the tail lights. Also, I dont know if this factor into the equation, but try making sure that all your bulbs are of the same brand, same watts back there on both sides.

I recently was having light issues back there. Purchased two bulbs to replace on both sides of brake light. A day after the other bulb (tail light) went kaput on what side. I removed all 4 bulbs and replace with same brand bulb. now everything is working fine so far. about 2 to 3 weeks now.

All lights work as they are suppose too and I don't have any bulb out warnings. And I think the driver side is dim not the passenger side brighter

I had the car for a year and never noticed this. I never had to change any bulbs

Switch the bulbs side to side and see if it moves.

I'm starting to notice that my passenger side air bag light keeps going on and off when nobody is sitting in the seat
