Warped rotor maybe?

Pretty sure its not the rotors. Just had it out for a drive trying to duplicate the problem, no luck. City speeds, highways speeds, turns, gentle application, sudden braking.. No shudder..
If it was brake(caliper) related, could it be just "cleared up" as far as maybe the seal moved past the point that was presenting the issue? Im considering rebuilding the calipers, but I was hoping someone could reason why it would go away/not show any symptoms? Wife drives the car, I asked her if its happened again, and she said she "anticipates" it when slowing down/turning so seems like that prevented it from happening.. I obviously drive a little more aggressive lol So a little more wear and the piston moved past the problem spot? |

Starting to think the issue was in the tire. Bead separation (had a leak, swapped another wheel/tire on, coming to think of it now, about the time I had the last occurrence). Hoping it would present itself again, otherwise seems to be fixed...

Update: (if anyone else has a similar issue)
Replaced the rim (found it to be out of round, but that alone never caused an issue) I would recommend swapping (rotating) wheels first, that would've solved it for me right then. I ended up having to use a spare wheel before replacing it with another oem one. But tire and/or rim can cause an awful lot! If you think about the geometry in turns, a little off balance or bead/belt separations can do wonders. |

Having a failing shock absorber on the front left corner created similar problems for me - here in the UAE you can turn right without a signal, so more load tends to go on this corner; fast turns and driving down through multi-story parking made for quite a bit of uneven stress on that side, - previously this caused a similar "brrrrrrrr" noise while cornering to the right at moderate speed, together with ABS warning light. Changed the shock and it was all good.... do you see any tilt in the car's sitting level after leaving it overnight?
