Awesome hidden feature! Although my 15% tinted windows never really need dimming from the rear view lol!
And good luck with your new whip OP, those slide pins need to be installed dry on the calipers however!

I remember having 15% tint on my 78 nova and couldn`t see anything at night backing up and hit a couple cars back in the day

Ah boys I've had 15% since I started driving ten years ago! You get used to it I assure you and always make sure your reverse lights are bright enough lol!
And S, I agree there is always one asshat that might necessitate auto dimming (or clown nose dimming) mirrors being used, namely the Dodge Ram pnp 6000k halogen headlights and fog lights crowd!

Thanks again, guys, and good eye SND, hadn't noticed that gap. Looks like the driver's side power folding mirror doesn't work, will work on that soon, same for the power telescoping steering. Won't even go near that till spring tho.

The to-do list thus far:
1. Telescopic steering (I suspect the actuator module, since memory buttons don't do anything, though the power seat works). 2. Driver's side folding mirror 3. Remote unlock doesn't work 4. CCV, jic While I'm a bit annoyed at the telescope not working (I'm short), I console myself with the fact that the expansion tank, radiator hoses, control arms, disa, and other stuff look new. ![]() And oh boy, do I LOVE the sound of the engine when I gun it!

Did some more snooping in the engine bay, and found some barcodes... radiator and fan are new, as well as the radiator hose and MAS.
