Wanted something different from the common pack, but also under the radar in terms of cops ( maybe not so much anymore ), but still packing a powerful punch,,

Thats what got me looking for a 4.8is, i wanted something your AVG 19yr old is not driving as well, aka older m3s, vw's and all that.

Test drive, and how the car was nice and "big-body" but you could leave a sports coupe in the dust is what sold me lol.

edit: And forgot another one of my things was air suspension height adjustment so i can have it real low, and raise it up if i ever need to, no buying suspension after you get the car just to drop it, extra $$ expense as well.

Cool

Another "Yeah, baby!" moment: I'm about to pull out of the parking garage at the office when someone flags me down. I stop, thinking there's an emergency. He just wanted to look inside the car.

I've also noticed women I drive past in downtown Toronto smile at me now. I feel schmexy.

Running in the rear with the lead pack of 15-20 BMWs up 95 to get a Tony Luke’s Cheesesteak in Phila at in the spring time. We all hit 115/120 in the Baltimore tunnel just to hear the pipes roar. Redline 3,4 hard up shifts...loved the rush, the sound the pipes made off the walls.
Had no issues keeping up with M3s, M5s, M6s, and the Lambo leading the pack. I was the designated “parts picker upper” in case something fell off one of the lead cars….
The bonus was the carbon cleaning accomplished while having fun. The idle and part throttle response is much cleaner now too..

For those interested there is another trip planned for the Spring Time in the Wash DC area. Last year we had some 50 cars. We always pick up another 20/30 cars out of Baltimore on the way. Great fun, no tickets as most were sane drivers not squirrels.

Lots of moments.

Mainly kicking lots of asses and surprising the crap out of people at what the X is capable of. Its not a 4.8is or anything but still pretty good.

When i first put on 87s and took a step back to look at them..

When i realized i can keep up with a Ferrari, 911s, lotuses on curvy roads, of course they are faster but keeping it in 2nd/3rd through the mountains it was very good.

Heres one example, sorry for the music masking engine noise. The YEAH BABY moment started at 2:10, it shot out of the corner

Another one vs friend in a 35D.

When DSC Assisted me with this on a sleepy morning.:

Oh and when from a rolling start im faster than a e36 m3 cabrio auto!!!

And when i first heaqrd the shound from my AFE intake:

I got a few, first one when I saw my wife get in to it to drive it and the look on her face like a little fat kid has just saw a free cake sign. (she use to drive a 2006 RSX)

The time after my wife drove it for the first time to work and some ass decided to mess with her on the highway by slowing down and speeded when she came to change lanes, left the ass in the dust (this also scared her on how strong the 4.4 took off so fast)

Another time was when I smoked a turbo vw golf lol the guy was sounding off his BOV and I came to his side he started to rev then we stoped at a red light, I let him go first and then I put it in S/m mode and slapped it in first gear, lol that was a nice rush

My first time for me was when I first took my X on a test drive at the stealer. It was my first time driving a X5.

I pulled out the stealer and stepped on the gas. Dude from the stealer says: ''Hey slow down... you can't do that until you buy the truck....woahhhhhh slow down man....... Epic moment. After dude got out the X my wife tells me he was a little pussy.
