First time was on the test drive. We had been looking at 4 to 6 year old Jeeps for my son to drive, and were actually looking at an X3 at the dealer. I started it and it ran rough and smoked a lot - I know now it had the dreaded clogged CCV, or perhaps worse! Parked next to it was the X5, and the condition inside and out was outstanding for a car that was 8 years old. After a brief jaunt up and down the interstate, which did not, by the way, reveal how stiff the sport package suspension really is, we were asking ourselves why we were looking at noisy, rough, narly Jeeps where for the same coin we could buy a vehicle that was without a doubt in a different league.

What a MAROON! The profit margin (and commissions) are better on used cars.

My latest "YEAH, BABY" moments:

Leaving some guy in an ML350 in my dust at the light. I bet he was crying and saying, "WHY?" hahaha.

Fixing my rear wiper. I know, a small triumph, but considering how a lot of people delete it rather than fix it, it makes me feel like I know what I'm doing.

I was hypermiling the other day, and someone behind me decides to try to pass me on the right. I hit the gas and Gandalfed him.

Wish I had a megaphone so I could have said to him, 'YOU SHALL NOT PASS!'

I was driving home and came up to a red light next to a 2013 Charger Daytona.
2013 Dodge Charger Daytona Debuts at L.A. Auto Show – News – Car and Driver

I was shocked he was unable to get ahead of me.

At the next light I was sitting still and he snaked at speed into the right turn lane & went forward getting a half car length ahead of me before he was behind a car and unable to to get in front of me.

hehe
