Stopping distance is limited by the traction of the tires.

Edit: also I <3 87's. Someone sell me a rear. Daddy needs a full size spare.

Agreed.

The stopping distance is shorter with drilled'slotted rotors when WET due to ZERO delay in braking force. Solid rotors allow pads to hydroplane.

One second of pad hydroplane at 80 mph causes 117ft of additional stopping distance. HUGE difference!

The best looking wheels are the wheels you think look best.

I have drilled and slotted rotors with pads that are supposed to be 20% better than stock. My primary goal was looks and if braking power did not exceed the traction of the tires I would have taken them off. I have no trouble getting the ABS to kick in so when I need new rotors I will go the same route.

I didn't measure stopping distance before and after so I don't know for sure if they stop better in any condition. What I do know is I really like the way the pedal feels, especially under hard braking. I feel much more comfortable, more in control.

My choice of rotors and pads is different than TiAGX5. So, at least two of us are pleased with the results going different routes to get there.
