I just replaced my driver side front and rear speakers about a month ago, i thought it was a bit strange that the one side works fine and the other dont at all. before i bought anything i took the speakers on the passenger side and pluged them in on the driver side to see if it was the speaker or the amp wiring etc. they worked it was the speakers. i find it strange that all four dont work i think it may be the wiring like stated above...
