M54 Jet Pump broken
I was working on replacing the intake boot on my M54 today, and while moving the jet pump out of the way to install the new boot, the pump broke...
![]() I'm thinking that the part failed because of age and the current extreme cold we've seen in SC. Anyway, has anyone ever had this happen? I was able to get the hose off of the top (labelled 1 in the photo), and I see one of those damned crimp hose clamps on the bottom (2 in the photo). I assume I'll be cutting the crimp clamp off the lower hose and replacing with a normal hose clamp. Does anyone know where the hose connected to 2 goes? I'd like to know in case I have to replace it. I can't really tell from the realoem diagrams.
