Navigation CD

Where can I buy an updated CD for my 2001 navigation system? I want a CD with the latest new streets. I've searched and can only find older CD's.

Just bought 2014 discs on ebay. I still need to get a firmware disc though.

Let me know if those ebay discs work. I've read mixed reviews. I need the 2014 discs as well. I'm running the 2010 discs right now and half the stores in my area don't even show up in the travel info feature.

The firmware discs are available for download all over the place.

I wish the same were true for the map discs.

Just an FYI...I hope those with e53s that have the MK I, MK II, and MK III Nav CPUs know that they use the "HIGH" CDs (and not DVDs). The MK IV Nav CPU can use either the "HIGH" CD or DVD nav maps.

For example, when BMW went to MOST communication bus and iDrive...the DVD system is different...they use the "PROFESSIONAL" or "CCC" DVD Nav discs. The e53 uses the "HIGH" DVD discs for those with the MK IV Nav CPU...and the MKI, II, II uses the "HIGH" CD Nav discs. The Pro & CCC DVDs aren't compatible with the Nav CPU used in the e53.
