Lol! I was thinking the same thing , I would be in heaven but my wife would probably divorce me for being absent most of the time

Incidentally, the ‘029’ (4.4i) and ‘034’ (4.6is) versions of the 5HP24 use the same bellhousing casting but the stiffening webs are partially machined for the 034 to provide the necessary clearance for the larger 280mm torque converter (029 uses the 260mm F38 unit)

Still waiting on the big shipment of parts. I'll contact Craig tomorrow to get an ETA.

I got the upper oil pan cleaned up. That was a bit of a pain. Don't worry, it's cleaner than it looks in this shot with the shadows.



Also got the 2nd Vanos seal installed. All that's left to do is to press the Vanos seal on both of them. I couldn't find any synthetic graphite grease, but did pick up some regular graphite grease for the bolt on the Vanos press. Hopefully that will suffice?
