Damon, I saw this post after i replied to the other one - you definitely shorted something and that resulted in the LCM shunting some of the circuits... you need to backtrack your steps and undo what you have done - you also might find a fuse blown... i would suspect, there is a blown fuse in the trunk area, could be in the wipers circuitry, could be in the trailer circuitry - the blown fuse may point in general direction of where to look for the short...

Pull fuse 14 and reinsert it should reset the lcm.
Just put on earmuffs before you do it, ask me how I know.

You want my opinion?
Unscrew the back cover and take the key out of the ignition. The ballast wire just twists a quarter turn then comes off the back of the bulb, I wouldn't go through all the trouble of pulling the fuse or disconnecting the battery just to change the light bulbs, been swapping for 10 years and not an issue. Now I say key left out of the ignition just in case you go to test something and forget to plug it in first. As long as the ballast plug is on the back of the bulb securely, and the headlight switch is in off or -0-, you'll be fine. OP, did you put on the earmuffs before pulling the fuse?

Jay, Damon's issue was not a stuck LCM, it was a cut wire... He restored the circuit, everything is back to normal. I had same issue with lic plate lights and a short in TV module harness. It is a bitch to troubleshoot... Lol... If he takes me on my offer, we might work on his camera in a few weekends from now... His setup is working but needs some tweaking

Gotcha Fariz and good job helping him! I find that a lot of times messing with the electrical (interior led's etc) tends to put the lcm in fail safe or something and the fuse 14 trick resets it. Many times I thought I blew a fuse but the reality was I didn't lol
