Looking For Dinan E53 X5 CAI: D760-0534

Hello, I'm new to the site. I am looking for a Dinan Cold Air Intake for My 2005 E53 4.4i. I already installed the Dinan Free Flow Exhaust. I'd be interested in other Dinan parts that will fit my vehicle as well.

CAI: D760-0534

Please let me know if you can help me out in my search.

Thanks!
Matt

Dinan still offers some mods for E53s and I have found their online catalog is not always correct. I would check with Dinan to see what they still have and they also be able to send you in the right direction to find their cold air box.

Or search for an authorized dealers in your area, and get them to help you out.

I have called Dinan directly and received the "discontinued" message from them also reached out to a few local Dinan rep/installers who communicated the same. The volume wasnt there for them. Not sure how that compares to the OP's geographical area but for me in the DMV its a no go.

Good Luck

They offered a full line for the E53 until a few years ago. Our E53s have their AARP cards so market is much smaller now. As mentioned, dealer could be a good source to learn where the 'Dinanized' X5s are hidden. Local BMW clubs usually know a lot about what is around also. Might try some of the local Indys or BMW performance shops. There are usually some Dinan products on Ebay. Even if parts are not for X5s they may have some not currently posted.

So if I had no Dinan upgrades but a Dinan CAI came available to me for $250 CAD, I should buy it, or don't waste my time?

Buy it now, but get all the parts if it is a used set up.

This posting will get the other brand users up and commenting.......

I thought about the AFE comments, but I should state this Dinan intake is about $100 less than any AFE set-up. and it has a fully enclosed housing, instead of just a metal shroud.
I was only interested in this cause of such the good deal.

Its going to be a tough find but can be done with time and patience. I scored a new Dinan CAI on ebay never been installed and got it for $200 on Ebay on a buy now. I got the Dinan tower strut bar from an enthusiast in Canada. I would have searched for the Dinan Exhaust but scored a great deal on an Eisenmann race exhaust for $980 as opposed to $2300 so I took it. So you are just going to have a to keep a daily look out for the Dinan parts.
