Did the arms get torqued with the suspension on the ground (loaded?)
Are your rotors warped or your caliper seized?

I had something similar (would shake like hell if you hit the brakes on the highway)
In my case it was the rotors. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The shaking is most likely caused by the disc rotors being warped out of shape

Warping isn't common, but an uneven buildup of pad material on the rotor is. It causes a pulsing or shaking when braking, and can be made worse by any looseness in the suspension.

Wheel bearings could also be the culprit. although they usually make some noise before they need replacing! I had that dreaded shudder when braking (certain speeds ie 40km/h-20km/h then nothing from then down)
replacement is easy, (with a press) and youre good as new!

If you've replaced the front/rear control arms then I'd look to the discs themselves. You could try a few hard braking attempts to de-glaze the pads but don't totally stop. Just brake from like 60mph down to 5mph a couple of times.

Replace the rotors first. If you still have the braking shimmy, look into suspension components and the bushings in the suspension parts. Most of the time it's the rotors.
