New 2015 X5 ?

Much as we love the 06, and at only 65,000 miles we are thinking to go for a 2015, any info available yet?
Is a facelift or a new look planned?
I have been hearing that the 15's will have standard back up camera, us "OF's"
are having neck problems....this would make it easier....the way people drive in South FL we need all the help we can get.

The 2015 X5 should be the 2nd model year of the 3rd generation X5 (F15?). The "facelift" (now referred to as LCI - life cylce impulse) usually occurs around the 5th model year.

For example...I believe the model year introductions for the US market are as listed below:

I believe that it is still too early to tell...they were just released...If you are really concerned, wait until the first model year is released, then get the second year of production...

LCI for the F15 won't be till mid 2017 model year at least, so probably late 2016.

I started pricing 2014's to see what we would be looking at price-wise when I sell the 06, seems there are no deals to be had as they are keeping the supply short, I'm told there are no "givebacks" or factory rebates which makes the dealers reluctant to discount.(on X 5's)
So I'm thinking, another CPO an '11 or '12 same as we bought the 06...
Down here you get a mommy wagon with about 25-30,000 miles just over 1/2 list price.
Now, to find one with the equipment and color you want...( most are some form of Grey, Black or White) very few Vermilion's Blues or Browns)

I know the pleasure of exploring new vehicles, but given the likely spread between purchase price and what you will get for your 06, nice as it is, how about an after-market back-up camera ?

I figure the 06 "should" bring a high of $15 to a low of 12 (Black/Tan Sport/Prem/R comfort, brand new tires 63,000 miles 2 small door dings only)
If I can find a CPO 11 or 12 for + or - $38,000 that will give me 3 years of warranty
There seem to be a few around....unfortunately since we have a Black/Tan so I'd like another color, not White or some form of Grey...that leaves Vermilion or Blue, and NO Black interior (not in FL...whew)

Actually, that sounds pretty rational. I have an acquaintance with the a diesel '11, very nice. The fuel mileage, and especially torque, would be nice, especially if you tow. I'm ok with my Sapphire Black exterior, though its hard not to look dirty. Ditto on avoiding a black leather interior! I think the E70s look good in silver, but all a question of personal preference.
