I just read a thread by ///Bruce where a water pump swap on an '03 M62 cost $2800. ![]() Just did my pump (and new belts) for under $200 in one day. ![]() It's a plus knowing everything was done right/not rushed, and torqued to specs.

I called a shop that specializes in BMW they quoted me $2300 . I explained to them the situation and noise and they basically said they will need new chain guides tensioners etc. my question is once I do this and I decide to sell what can I expect to get for the car? I really love the car . but I still have to ad a new battery , fix the rear suspension and a few small things. can I expect to sell it for 8K If I fix all the issues?
