Just so we're clear, there was no disrespect meant. It's probably the best way to "extend" a sun visor without having to resort to cheap aftermarket pieces.
Most people who set the seat at a low position on the X are vertically challenged, my wife is 5'-2" so she is vertically challenged.

Unlike my brothers who owns Ford Tauruses they can set the seat high and raise or lower the entire pedal assembly.

romeokc10: thank you for that link; I may give it a try to block the sideways sun pouring in, esp on early in the day/rising sun, trips.

NJ police do not like tint very much because besides the law one of the state troopers got shot years ago as he approached the vehicle and could not see inside.
Personally I think the tint laws are bullshit especially if you have black interior you want that tint it saves on gas keeping the cab cool as well.
In my experience and this is getting into a hugely different debate but ever since NJ went to emissions only for inspection in 2011 I have not seen cops caring too much about pulling over for window tint at all, and I live near a lot of towns with bored cops, etc.

10 years ago I used to roll my windows down whenever a cop passed by and yes the troopers, local cops etc pulled me over for it quite a bit. Now I've had my X for over 2 years, and before that I had my '08 GLI and only got pulled over for that in late 2009 perhaps? So it's been a solid 5 years without an officer batting an eyelash, don't draw excessive attention to your vehicle and don't drive like a jackass and I think whether you have window tint or not is their last concern.

And regarding the sunvisor strip, no cop is going to pull out a ruler on your windshield just make sure its not like the strip is half your windshield lol!
