Upper rear "TUBULAR" control arms??

I was doing a little research on adjustable control arms. A lot of guys with cars that don't have aftermarket adjustable control arms sometimes custom make tubular control arms. I was thinking maybe it would be possible for the e53 community. We all know about the rear tire wear. This is a rough thought. I don't know much about them but someone here must know a thing or two. I'm thinking we take some measurements and have a machine shop whip up a tubular arm with proper joints and just have one side threaded no? It seems to be a simple concept. What's everybody's thoughts on this? Any ideas? Worth a shot if you ask me .
