Just scanned my X5, need advice with a few fault

Just got my BMW scanner running and after fixing AUX Fan and cooling overhaul, decide to rescan the X. Got the following messages... I sometimes experience some type of vibration during acceleration, engine at idle is smooth. Everything seems fine except for the vibration... I am still trying to figure what to do. Please help if you have any insight.

In my DME Details, I have the following fault code
5A[090] Exhaust temperature before catalyst, bank 1, singal line, short circuit to negative
5B[091] Exhaust temperature before catalyst, bank 2, singal line, short circuit to negative
5D[093] Exhaust temperature after catalyst, bank 2, singal line, short circuit to negative
3F[063] Control unit self-test 3
53[083] Crankshaft sensor, no signal
3E[062] Solenoid valve, secondary air, short circuit to negative or open circuit

Then from my VTG [ Transfer Box], which sounds more scarier
54C6[21702] Oil abrasion

Thanks!

You can ignore these faults:

5A[090] Exhaust temperature before catalyst, bank 1, singal line, short circuit to negative
5B[091] Exhaust temperature before catalyst, bank 2, singal line, short circuit to negative
5D[093] Exhaust temperature after catalyst, bank 2, singal line, short circuit to negative

I think it in the software. Everyone that I know who uses BMW Scanner 1.4 has these faults.

Do you have a SES or CEL MIL light on? If you do I would look at this fault

53[083] Crankshaft sensor, no signal

The oil abrasion error is telling you to change the fluid in your transfer case. There's a sensor in there that is testing the properties of the fluid

After you change the special fluid there is a reset procedure for the transfer case.

Is that the fifty dollar oil that I have to purchase from the dealer? Can I use the scanner to remove code? Or turning the steering wheel reset?

Funny thing about the crankshaft error is that there is no engine or ses light.

Yes - this is the magic oil. The error will disappear as soon as the sensor starts sampling the new fluid.

I don't believe so. It's magic oil. Part #83220397244

I was able to get mine online (eBay or amazon? I don't remember) for a much better price

I changed it a few months ago and definitely notice much smoother action from the drivetrain. My old fluid was in pretty bad shape. Very dark and burned smelling.

Reviving an old thread, but my errors are very similar...

The same O2 errors and I'm really wondering what's this Control Unit Self Test 3 error.
