Looks like the E46 guys are much ahead of us regarding the new Dynavin N6. Lots of great tantalizing info about the N6-E46 to get a feel of the N6-E53 model. That Jeff guy even has a prototype already of the E46 N6. per thread below. Great video of the N6 in there!

If replacing the LCDis simple enough i may just do that. In other scenario, I am wanting an auxiliary hook up for my iPhone to play audio. Currently I'm running a cassette tape with auxiliary cable hook up and the quality absolutely sucks. My stereo as far as I know is the standard hi-fi and has the six disc cd changer in the back of the truck. I have read before that it is extremely difficult and/or expensive to get an auxiliary hook up with the six disc changer? Really looking for the cheapest solution to this. Wife and I are expecting a new baby in October so money is tight right now in preparations.

Depending on the year of your ride, you might have an AUX input pre-wired behind the screen - all you need is cable from dealer, about $40-60, or build the cable yourself from the Radio Shack parts, about $5-10... That is if you have the AUX pre-wired...

if you want a cheap auxilary solution, check out this thread.

It cost me under $5 AUD to make the cable! Easy to install. The only hard part is deciding where you want the cable and feeding it through the console
