4.8isX5, please let me know the website. I may be interested. I had my ecu remapped but like everyone with power, I want more and I wonder if this flash will do it?
apparently my 4.4 is more powerful than a 4.8iS based on 93 octane. I had the option for a 94+ octane version but only 1 place sells that fuel around here and its Husky which uses Ethanol blend. I will not run that.

The following explains the Shark Injector: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j-N-rMx0YwQ

It is available at Turner Motor Sports website.

Ricky Bobby will become famous soon enough
Shark Injector is little more popular with the ZHP and E46/M54 crowd, but I've had good luck in past with a dedicated 93 octane tune for NA motors, so I wouldn't hesitate to run it.

I have meth injection to up the octane and so the nitrous doesn't cause it to run lean. The 93 octane tune would increase the timing. Bozo no no for me.

I am interested in the throttle remap only if it will result in a curve that gets to 100% throttle faster. My goal is to launch harder and sooner.

Just spoke with Dinan Tech about throttle remapping. The Dinan software I have does change the throttle response somewhat but it was not maximized. He cautioned there is a point where it is too responsive for some on the street. He said adding a remapping device with not harm the Dinan software. At this point I intend to go forward once I determine what adjustable on the fly unit I like the best.

Great input, thanks.

so does this work on NA engines, or just turbo'd?

Throttle remapping works on any drive by wire system. Doesn't matter what the engine is.

FYI- There is a big contingent that claims they are worthless. I have read as many as I could stand to read. My take is the non-believers don't understand what they do.

Not worthless at all, and yes dinan most likely did not map your throttle that way since maximizing it would not be the best all the time either.

I usually keep mine in sport and then +2. Or Sport+ (race) and +1.

Compared to it off and even just sport there is a huuuuuuuge diff. Even in economy mode and -3 it is more resp then stock.

What ive noticed when i am messing with cars is it definetly does give you great advantage cause your pedal is so much more responsive when your on it or on/off gas like in and then out of a corner, it gives great advantage cause even when they other person gets on it, their response nowhere near the same.

Correct, Dinan did not take it to the max. Thanks for the input, very helpful.
