Swapping seats. Do i need to program?

Just out of curiosity, are the seats actually unique from side to side? The controls would need to be swapped and perhaps the mounting brackets but I was hoping the actual seat would be the same. Short of that, do you know if the seat heater could be disconnected for the top section only? Thanks for the help!

I believe the cushion itself can be switched side to side.
However, please double check part # from realoem.com to make sure.
