Ratty old emblem is better than no emblem. Good thing I hadnt tossed it yet. Not having a hood badge bothered me.

I know personally, when I came to the forum, it was sometimes frustrating trying to figure out some things when many of the original posters (in the old threads) have no vehicle information. It was unclear if they were facelift, prefacelift, and sometimes it wasn't clear if the had the 6 or 8 cylinder engines.

your "preserved" badge sure looks better than this


I bought 3 extras a couple of years ago. And my last one I used recently when it flew off the hood on my e39. This is a good consumable to have spares on hand

Lol yeah, it does indeed! I actually refreshed the page a few times before I got it.

Yep, will have one on hand as a spare from now on. Ah yes...another quirk of BMW ownership.
