New Brake Booster, now bifecta lighting up
The place I bought my 4.8is from agreed to fix the brakes when I bought it. Seven weeks ago. First they did new pads & rotors. Then they rebled the lines. Just picked it up after they installed a new brake booster. On the way home, I got the bifecta - the DSC/4x4 and BRAKE lights came on. Pressing the DSC button will not turn it back on, or reset the light.
Could these just need to be reset from the work they did, or did the repair trigger something else? I immediately drove back to the shop and showed them that the lights had come on, just to make them aware, but the mechanic was not there, only the sales guy. He connected their code reader and it wasn't reporting anything. At that point I drove it home (only a mile or two) and started searching the problem.
I guess, before I buy any tools or take it to my indy, what are the odds that putting in the new brake booster caused this, and it's just a reset? Or what are the odds that they triggered something else up while installing the booster? Neither of these lights had come on before they did the booster.
Thanks...
