Correct.

Except mine is the ZF 6 speed. I got the whole solenoid kit here.
The CTSC - ZF Parts Plus the oil, plus the valve body spacer square gasket thing, and new sealing sleeve for the electronics.

Transmission went from pissing me off, to awesome again. Even reduced that weird 2-1 lurch even more, rarely get it now.

The reverse thing only happened after it was warmed up, and after some spirited driving.

Where did you get an overhaul manual for the repairs?

Update on this subject.

I´ve sold the car to a friend of mine who knew the gearbox was damaged with this reverse problem, he said he would take care of it!!!

He changed the gearbox oil on his garage himself withouth following any of the BMW complicated procedures, he just took out the old oil and put new oil in. The oil doesn´t have any particular specification, just comun gearbox oil he bought in a lousy shop. I told him he was crazy and he would damage the gearbox even further! Well, 8 months have passed and the gearbox has never failed on him again it is working perfectly! How about that!

I asked him what kind of oil did he bought and he just told me that it was the oil available on the shop, they didn´t had any other so he used that one! We are in Africa in a distant region where most of cars are Toyota and zero BMW assistance, so I was amazed at this result, but I´m really glad for him
