As I said, I will continue the rest of the install (the easy part coming this weekend). Looking at the wiring & labeling of the supplied wire harnesses in the Dynavin box, if you have PDC, it can be installed, and I think this would be an easy install, because if you have the PDC, the wiring is already installed in the car from factory. It's just a matter of replacing those signal wires from the OE headunit to the Dynavin headunit. If you don't have PDC, then you have to do what I did, and you can do both (PDC & camera) in one shot. I just finished patching the Dynavin OS & the Nav software. I purchased the map extras with buildings etc (for 12 bucks.....). I am curious to see how it looks. today I took my e39 to work, so I don't know yet. My wife needed a vehicle, she doesn't like sedans, so she has to enjoy it today.

Have been doing a lot of research between Dynavin and Avin - spoke to Jeff who confirmed based on my usage that a Dynavin would be better.
Only then to find that Dynavin have now put blocks on international trade of their units, and that I have to buy one off the sole local supplier in Australia- who are selling them for $2,000 - double the price of the same unit sold in the US. Dynavin - pull your head in.

On the other hand, the Bluetooth stopped working tonight...tried resetting the unit, the phone, and I'm getting nowhere...although in the BT devices list it does give me Dynavin N6 option but it says Dynavin N6 is off or out of range... Gotta take a look at it tomorrow and see what exactly is the problem. I'll let Doru comment more on it

![]() I've got mine installed. Despite some confusion on my part about a mislabeled connector, it was easy. Great support from Jeff too.

What is the experience with DSP equipped cars? Does the N6 work fine with it?

I barely had the time to get the base install done, and I still have to tidy up. So far I am happy to have Bluetooth audio from my iphone. The sound is much better than the stock and I have a REAL nav system.
